Default Cleaning the convertible roof

Sorry, not had a soft top before. I’ve bought the autoglym clean and protect kit but I guess I just use that occasionally. With a general wash do you just use the car shampoo and rinse off; same as the bodywork?
Thanks guys.

I typically just hose mine off, and don't wash it. Roughly once a year, I use 303's cleaning and waterproofing kit, using a paint brush to apply it.

FWIW, I wash mine about every third wash, unless I have mistakenly parked under a tree, and have seen tiny drips from the tree on my windscreen, knowing therefore there are drips on the top too. I use the same car wish product as I do on the BRG, the black wish soap from Chemical Guys. And like most others on the forum, I treat the fabric annually. Same treatment that I used on my prior Jaguar drop heads.
