Default In Control Apps - 2.0 F Type

I may be losing my mind but I can't seem to get In Control Apps working. Is In Controls Apps on all new F-Types.

I've just bought an F-Type 2.0 litre R-Dynamic and it doesn't seem to have in control apps on it. I'd like to use Spotify from the In Control Apps.

How do I set it up?

From the configurator it looks as if InControl is standard. So you need to get the dealer to enable it.

In control Apps is simply awful. Even with the latest update, Spotify will only initiate a playlist...but do nothing else. Using in control Apps is more likely to cause an accident then sticking with your phone and bluetooth.

I agree that InControl is awful. I can get Spotify to work though. Genius Maps and Sygic work well but as we all know what is needed is waze. There was an update to the app yesterday but no new allowed apps.

I wouldn't bother getting it enabled.

It's there and works in our 2018 2.0L. The phone has to be plugged in through usb and you have to open the Incontrol app on the phone.

I agree with the others though, it's fairly worthless. Certainly not CarPlay level. Easier to play audio over Bluetooth if that's the main intent.
