The BRG is the most gorgeous green I've ever seen.

Balboa, your car does look nice. Less than two months until mine arrives.

I love BRG.....I've had three vehicles in that (similar) color. I can appreciate the tan top, but I really like how the black seems to darken the paint.

2 cents,
Dave

It's a drastic difference - really 2 completely different colors. I'm noticing how much I like the look of the black top with the BRG in the latter scenario (in the pic), which for me is more often than not.
Exactly, the colour really "pops" in direct sun. It is constant work to keep clean, just like a black car (and I live in a rural area which makes it harder). I bought it by order (took 6 months) and did not think of a light coloured canvas top because I thought it might be hard to keep clean. Just a hose down is all I use on this top, and lots of washing and waxing for the body! Worth it. I get lots of comments along the lines of, "nice to see a Jag in the right colour".

I had a Jaguar XK convertible some years back in BRG and at that time they offered a dark green top and that's the way I ordered it. It looked spectacular and I wish they still had that as a choice. I'm stronglyconsidering ordering an F Type and if I do I will buy the BRG with the black top.

asolare, welcome to the forum. It's funny that you posted a reply to this thread as I picked my new '17 BRG F-Type up yesterday. A dark green top would have been perfect. I decided to get mine with the tan top. I like it, but probably would have liked black just as well. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it clean. Here's a picture before they cleaned it.

There's no doubt that the BRG pops in the sun and looks spectacular.

I missed that post! Not sure it's still there, but that's my car! You took my breath away, because you reminded me of the moment I picked it up 16th Aug of last year... seems so long ago. Almost at 10K miles, so better get it in for the clutch work before warranty. LOL

SinF just got his clutch replaced and seems to love it.

That video was awesome. Sort of the "anti" car review. I would love to see Phill Harris or Matt Farah's reaction to that. "oh, so that's what pickup is". LOL

That is indeed a great color combo. I had not considered it, but would have if I had seen yours. I am very happy with the camel, but might have gone with the brogue.

I figured that I'd follow up on my post after having my BRG F-Type for about five months. I was unsure about the tan top (with black interior) when I got it, but now that I've had it for a while I'm glad that I got the tan instead of the black. I do think a camel top with camel interior would look better, but I think what I have is the best for me given that Jaguar doesn't offer the camel/camel top/interior combination. I'm also real happy that I added the upgraded brakes. I think they fill out the inside of the wheels very nicely. Speaking of the (default) wheels, I think they look good, but not great. One thing that I really like about them is they take about half as long to clean as those that were on my BMW 435i. Finally, it's nice having a car that people compliment me about constantly. It's also nice having a car that I very rarely see anyone else driving.

+1. Having seen the Black and Tan tops on the BRG, I would have definitely opted for the tan if my difficult decision hadn't landed on the coupe.

The above pics with the dark leather and BRG drop top are surprisingly GORGEOUS. Nice.

I'm happily surprised at the lack of comments, but it is true that this car is not on the road nearly 1 out 20 Porsche or M4, etc.
