Convertible top stuck down
Hi all,
Today when I was driving and I lowered the roof and everything was fine. I kept the roof lowered as I did a quick trip to the grocery store. I come back and fire up the car and I’m greeted with the roof latched message and then it flickers to “roof not latched, max speed 30mph” for a half second then it goes back to the roof latched message. I went out to check and all the flaps and the roof are all down as usual. Now I can’t close the convertible top but I can raise and lower the windows. What should I do?
car is a 2016 F type R convertible with 42k miles.
Should I disconnect the battery and reconnect to see if electrical gremlins?

First do an OBD2 scan to see if there are any error codes related to the roof. Then charge the battery fully.
Then, yes, try the battery disconnect.
Is the red hazard triangle light glowing on your dash?
