This was on a new set of Michelin PSS and 305 in the rears. I never had any slip or greasing.
The thing that gave after maybe 10 miles and about 280-300 turns of the total 318 was the E-Diff, got hot, warning light came on and started locking, making for a more entertaining drive ... like old days ... It is not a car I would take to the track but would think the E Diff could become a problem after several hot laps ... on a fast enough track ...
Thanks for the feedback. Did you have to do anything major to put 305 on rear? I would assume a small spacer of some sort to fit the extra width. I won't be down this road until the late fall, but just trying to gauge what I will need to accomplish that if it makes sense to put 305s instead of the stock tires in the rear.Originally Posted by Schwabe
Yes, I am more and more surprised the harder I take the F type how well it handles for its weight. You can feel it braking but not really in the turn ins, the car hardly leans, no pushing over the front wheels like I experienced with my 911 turbo and an Audi would do. There's nothing you need to do to put 305s on the OEM 20" rear wheels. They are within spec for that wheel, and the 305 is only 10mm wider than OEM. There's plenty of clearance.

Thanks Foosh. So I can just buy the 305s and nothing else needed and will go right on my 20" Tornados? That's awesome, I'm very happy because I don't like to add spacers if absolutely necessary =)

+1. The F-Type has more excess fender clearance than most cars. At least 15mm to the outside and 25mm to the inside with the 295 wide tires. 305s, absolutely no issue.Originally Posted by Foosh
