Here it is.. just now adding a cold air kit...

The last photo should how it will work. Custom carbon fiber box and K&N filter outside in the cold air...


Will use a plenum cap with a air hose connection... short tube or piece of tubing to connect the two.

 

My setup is turbocharged, I have air to water intercooler to keep the IAT's Below ambient temps.

 

This mod alone (cool air intake) gave me another 50 hp! LOL
A good polishing gives me yet another 10! (snicker)

I was loading stuff into the boot of my car the other day.
The "XJ6'" badge on the right looked dull and worn.
Just above it, the 8 in a V shone nice and bright.
Dare, I remove the dull one???


That turbo'd SBC is looking great in it's neat home.
Not to slight Elinor and Roger.


Mine is decent, but, not up to that level, I think.


Yet, I just might....


I don't miss the extra HP I'd get if I worked in
cold air...

Looks almost OK and cleans air well, No
whoosh silence, though???

When the brand new exhaust manifolds that I got for next to no money at all were installed. Very happy with this engine too but it would not run right. It will be replaced (with a 6!) and the car will be restored.
