Default Cracked Bumper Trim

Hopefully this will be covered under warranty. Just noticed it today and have not been in any collisions (don't see how this crack would be possible with a collision).

Is it possible someone tapped you...? Seems near impossible for it to just crack on it's own.

Unless it was when I was parked somewhere, but not seeing how more damage would have been caused if I was hit while parked besides that specific crack. The 3rd picture shows the crack starts from the trim, if I was hit, wouldn't it start with the actual bumper?

Concerned this is what I will have to deal with when I take it for service on Monday and no way to prove if it was a defect vs something else. Just seems based on the crack that a collision wouldn't have caused it.

I see a crack in both the bumper and the trim. It looks to me like someone bumped into you. That really sucks and I'm sorry to see this. If either the trim or the bumper was defective then I would imagine just ONE of the items would break. But for both the bumper and trim to have cracked that points to come kind of impact to your bumper. Anything is possible but I dont see how both of those could fail in the same sport

Thanks for the responses and bummer. I also now see a scratch in the bottom trim from the pics (was so focused on the top I didn't even look at the bottom) so you guys are probably right. Off to find a Houston body shop now, let me know if any one has an good recs.
