"posser" - do you mean poser?
pos·er1
ˈpōzər/Submit
noun
a person who acts in an affected manner in order to impress others.
synonyms: exhibitionist, poseur, posturer, fake; informalshow-off
"he's such a poser"
Did installing an AWD badge earn him this dubius status?

I never thought a AWD badge would cause so much fuss, as i said in the post all the dynamic badges were repainted to suit the car, the rear came with the AWD attached, so painted all together and attached it, never bothered to take it off, doesn't really bother me Anyway had the car parked yesterday and a few passers bye thought it was a Ferrari, i suppose because of the red color,
Just another picture of the rear with the AWD decal for certain people out there,
Unhingd, do you think it is ok to fit a P7 grille, after all it's not a P7 Have one ordered, thanks for your help on that.

We had a LOT of this "re-badging" on the Mercedes forums from "AMG wannabees" which pissed off the actual AMG owners, myself included. I'll let it go as it's his car and the AWD may be the only thing out of place so perhaps not as big an issue as I had thought

Why did you put a Dynamic badge on the car in the first place? Here in the USA the 4-banger doesn't come as a "Dynamic". Are you saying that your car CAME with the Dynamic badges that you simply had re-painted? If so, then perhaps I am mistaken.
... logs into his UK proxy to check to see if I can build a UK-based 4-pot "Dynamic"
I stand corrected. Apparently Dynamic IS available on the smallest engine overseas whereas it is not available that way here in the States. My bad. It also looks like the OP may have even paid more for his than I did for my v8 R based on the JLR "build your own" website that shows the 4-pot Dynamic as listing for €74,460.00. The bottom line is that it is your car so you can do anything you like with it (including putting SVR badges on it if you want to).

If you get the P7 grille, where will you put the license plate? When I look at mine I think I'd love the grille but I've gotta stick the plate somewhere and really the bar is the best place for it.
Apropos the exhaust, it looks good. I think get whatever you like, as long as it isnt those stacks that pump out black smoke. I had quad pipes on my 4.2XF, and if I had the motivation I'd get quad pipes on mine too. Ultimately I dont miss the V8 from my XKR, but I do miss the quad pipes. Given that you would be lucky to see 2 f types a week, it would take a very diligent observer to confuse mine for an R just because of pipes, I am sure that 99.999% of punters wouldnt know the difference and 99.99999% wouldnt give a rats **** even if they did, especially given that 98% of people dont even know what an f type is.

I can confirm the EU version of the i4 does come with a R-Dynamic variant (a few options & packs by default), I got one and haven't done any modification to it yet. I only have this picture right now (and definitely not the best one) but you can somewhat see it next to the Jag symbol on the front grill:

Anyway as the starter of this thread can we move on and enjoy the F-type as a beautiful car no matter what anyone does to theirs. I know when i got the 4 pot i got the haters on other sites, saying it doesn't belong here, but now it seems a lot of people have bought one and it seems to have stemmed the flow of criticism.

Best of luck with your car bouncyjoe and all you do with it. I got mine in march, with the updated screen etc, mine had the dynamic logos on the side vents to. ndabunka, i'm a bit baffled by your comment, {He changed his exhaust to make it appear to be a more expensive variant as well.}. sorry to disappoint you but the reason was more noise and the retangular tail trim looks awful IMO

For me, changing from a dual to quad exhaust wasn't for more sound but for a deeper note and grumble. Along with that, I did get a lot more sound with the valves open and the massive fireworks, backfires and machine gun fire typical of the V8s. Wow!

Ahhh...but he didn't limit himself to the ranks of the terminally unhingd. All are welcome, and many on this forum can attest to the fact that I am not posing as an unhingd one.
