At the front of the panbel, pull out on it, then with it bent out towards you a little, slide the whole panel back... look at the arrows.

Hi,
So I don't need any panel tools. It's just a case of pulling the panel in the direction of arrow 1. And then sliding the whole thing backwards?

Hi,
I connected it all up.
Switched the car on.
The android screen came on.
Then I pressed original car.
Now all I get is no signal.
Anyone have any idea?
Cheers.

I had to adjust my settings - for which I needed a password (was 666666) and then had to choose the appropriate video layout (resolution etc) for the OEM screen to show through.... might be something like that, but r unit doesnt seem identical if you didnthave to transplant a daughter board from the OEM unit.

Those of you with this Android screen. When you get in the car and start up, will your Spotify/Pandora/whatever streaming music start up automatically, or do you have to push a button first?

the old version from ~2020 - no. Best bet is to use voice control once it's finished booting and network has been established. Newer versions i have no idea. I did raise it as a suggestion to them a while back.

Default GPS will auto launch, however. And i highly recommend Sygic because it has many dedicated vehicle navigation features, such as fully offline maps + address/POI search, and auto prompt to resume a previous incomplete journey.

EDIT: I don't know about the inbuilt local storage music player, if that automatically reopens. I've never really used it

Hi guys,
Got it working now.
I'm using Android Auto wired.
The steering wheel controls work in Spotify.
Also right now it defaults to Android Auto and waits for you to plug in your phone.
Then just starts off where it left off.
This makes it kind of easy.
Will post some pics soon in case anyone is interested.

Hi guys,
Don't seem to have the gps working on the Android unit.
What colour is the connector on the Harman unit?
Thinking of splitting it.
The supplied one is behind android display screen and perhaps us being blocked by the built in heated windscreen.
Thanks.
