I need some hive mind/expert advice from you guys. I installed a full Mina intake a couple weeks ago, and since then I've noticed a reproducible squealing noise coming from the intake. I know it doesn't have anything to do with the Mina (other than that the intake silencers hid it from me being able to hear it, I suppose), but now that I can hear it I can't unhear it. It's only noticeable from like 2.5-3.5k RPM's under light positive throttle, like easy acceleration. Under neutral/decel you don't hear it, and under heavier throttle/other RPM's it either doesn't squeal, or all the other glorious noises drown it out completely. It's a definite metallic squeal, possibly a failing bearing...definitely NOT SC whine. It has heaps of that too with the intake, but this is distinctly a squealing, like worn brakes, but coming from the intake under light throttle. Do these symptoms sound like the SC coupler to you guys? And if so, is the coupler purchasable as the SC "repair kit" from Jag, number 8 in this photo:
It's P/N C2D52713, and is just listed as 'Repair Kit', but the picture makes it look like it might have everything you'd need.
If my guesses here sound right - does it include the factory SC pulley, and is there a gasket I'd also need to buy between the coupler and the SC or throttlebody? And can I replace it by just pulling the aluminum SC cover plate, or does the entire SC need to come out on an engine hoist to replace? Thanks for the input guys, appreciate it!
Easy thing to do is remove the SC belt and drive a bit. Should tell you real quick if that is the source of the noise. I can tell you the car will drive fine but it will be gutless with out the SC running!

its definitely not the intakes fault, maybe you moved something thats touching the belt after the installation? that definitely also doesnt sound like a bad coupler either. maybe you can get the car on the air and drive it and hear whats going on
