Personally I think white plus one other primary color looks good.
Grey or Black, plus red or orange is good.
The firesand / blue is a bit rad, but my blue may be a little 'bright' - maybe a darker blue would work better. Blue is the negative of orange.
Just sayin' trim doesn't *have* to be black or silver.
and not everybody likes the vantage colour schemes either.
Hey mshedden - Visually very interesting, and subtle. On the ammonite/orange, the wheels really do it for me. But how about amping it up a bit for us? Show us one with a little more orange, for example with the full roof rails, ala the Vantage, and maybe those small front bottom farings. But I can do without the outside mirrors. Contrast there draws the eye away from the flow of the body lines.
Your interpretations on the F-Type are so much better than what they did on the Vantage. I really dislike the full lipstick on the A-M; just too much for me, but maybe OK for the track. If it were toned down, I mean less wide not a subtler color, it might be more appealing to me for street use.
I like the doodles. Not everyone’s taste for sure, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Jaguar snags some of your ideas for special editions or options in the future.
I think something like this might look interesting on the F-Type. Just some minor visual cues running around the bottom. I might buy some yellow vinyl to prototype something like this.

Lemme see. Roof rails are conceptually a problem (for me) as they were a vinyl graphic on the AM, and kinda break one of my 'rules' which is that things should occupy an entire 'part' (body panel, trim piece etc) and the vinyl kinda stops in 'mid air' in the middle of a panel, and certainly would on the F-Type.

Blue toned down a bit. Wheels could be darker, but thats my lack of skill...
I'm wondering what the inverse of this might look like. I really like Jaguar's Sapphire Blue Metallic color, and that with Firesand accents might be really nice. I was going to try it in photoshop myself yesterday, but didn't have time, and won't for several days now. If you happen to have time, I'd be curious to see that combo.

Well, the roof rails looked like they might work from the front, but I see it won't work from the rear. Dumb idea mine was.
