Default Driver side window loose?

Hey everyone,

It appears that my driver side window has become loose. It moves much easier than the passenger side (which maybe is attributed to me rarely opening that door?) and squeaks.

What holds the window in place? How can I tighten this to alleviate the issue?

You’ll have to pull the door card.

Thank you for your response. What do I need to do after I get the door card off (or what do I need to look for)

I suspect a nut has loosened attaching the track to the door.. Just check all the fasteners.

I tightened everything I could and it didn’t make a difference. There were some metal clips I saw that I adjusted, which made a minimal difference. I think the problem might just be caused by more usage of the driver side door vs passenger.

You should at least be able to figure out why it's loose. Wiggle the glass and see what bracket is not firmly attached to the glass and go from there.

Trust me, I tried, but all I could see were the little metal clips. Nothing adjustable at all. It’s possible it was further in the door but I’m hesitant to go further in fear of breaking something. At this point I’ll just have to learn to deal with it.
