LOL. True. I didn't think about that with your F-Type. My XJS of course does not have a heated steering wheel. But does have the heated seats. And the partial wood grain steering wheel. So maybe OK in my situation. For the 1960's and earlier Jags, the gloves seem appropriate. LOL

Love my driving gloves and wear them daily during the winter months as mine didn't come with a heated steering. They keep the leather clean as others have said and make every gear shift with a stick feel even nicer.

I can understand winter driving perhaps, but summer?

If the concern is dirt/oils on the steering, well, that is easily addressable with a proper product. I do a full Leatherique treatment on my leather interior at least once a year, but the cleaning component of that system I use with some regularly on the steering wheel in between the full system treatment. It does a perfect job of keeping the steering wheel immaculate. The nice matte leather finish remains at all times. I can’t say enough about the Leatherique system.

The only downside with the heated steering wheel is you can't take it with you when you leave the car! Then gloves are definitely better.
