Driving with the windows down-coupe
I am well aware that a well-optioned Porsche 911 or Cayman/Boxster are much lighter and still use steel in large areas of the car. As a reviewer recently said, I'm beginning to wonder if British aluminum has a high lead content.

It's true that in nearly every case of hitting an immovable object at highway+ speed, it won't end well for the driver. But maybe your odds are a little better with a stronger frame around you.
It's not that simple. All kind of factors are at play including smaller more manueverable cars being more likely to avoid an accident altogether.

My previous Dodge pickup had the cooled seats and I loved it. I now have 2 vehicles worth way more and neither has this option. Something's not right. I guess only pickup drivers sweat.
