Considering purchasing 2015 F-Type S. Had DTC codes downloaded. Does anyone know significance of:
B1086-00 HVAC. Air Distribution Damper Motor- No sub type information
B1163-15. DDM Left Mirror Heater Output—circuit short to battery or open

Would appreciate any helpful input.

 

Try this doc. It’s from the first model year; didn’t try searching for your codes, but it’s pretty comprehensive.

I’m guessing perhaps your ‘B’ codes come from the Body Control Module, while the more familiar P codes come from the PCM/ECU. Something like that.

 

Thanks for the PDF file. Great reference source. You are correct — B codes are for Body Control Module. ECUs are HVAC and DDM.
