Default Check A/C codes

Does someone have a how-to or know where I can get the info?

I searched a/c and 'air condition' and did not get any hits that told how to check the codes.

Reason is my a/c is blowing less and less cold, hoping it is just getting low on freon, but I know my luck is not that good.

Default A/C codes

Hi, to read codes - You hold down the AUTO and RECIRCULATE buttons at same time and turn on ignition, then push the auto button again and the fault codes will cycle on the display. If you have a "0" code that means no codes.

To clear the codes - at the same time push REAR DEFROST and the "ARROW TO FACE " button together.
I would make note of first codes and then clear all codes and then drive for a day or two and repeat to see if same or different codes come up.
There could be codes from along time ago that were not cleared. .
Don't ask me what the codes mean, that I do not have answer for, maybe others will have that info.
Good Luck, hope you find what you are looking for and you get some real cold air soon !
Happy Motoring to All.

I searched on air conditioning and got 2 pages on my search return and either it was not on there or I just plain missed it (likely scenario).

And thanks again.

Control panel fault code is 14.

Which is - Water temp input malfunction intrrument cluster output and then refers me to the PDU

PDU shows nothing like that or even the 14 panel code, so can someone help me decipher this please?

This means that at some time in the life of the car the water temperature information sent from the instrument cluster was not recieved correctly by the climate control module. This could be a real fault, or more likely or a code set when a module was disconnected during service.

Reset it and see if it comes back before doing anything else.

Have you seen this? https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/j...le-site-60209/

The forum search function is not always the best way to go.
