Default eBay Carbon Fiber

Got these pieces on eBay (they folks that made the side vents are doing a set of hood vents for me and I'll post pictures when they arrive). The mirror pieces are stick on caps and were I to do it again I'd take a black marker to the back edge (may still do that) but you really only see the line in a close up picture, even the dealer didn't notice it from normal viewing distances. The side vents don't have the Jaguar decal, like the Jaguar black vents the Jaguar is molded in and they bolt on they don't snap. Getting the old black vents off I used the fender unbolt method. There are three bolts (one under the rubber screw on (three screws) cover in front of the doors. Getting the old vents off without breaking the back fitting on the vent was beyond me, just didn't have enough fingers. Anyway here are the pictures. Vents are just under $700 and the Mirror covers around $110.

Carbon Fiber Side Rearview Mirror Cover

I would use a permanent black paint pen on the edge but for these prices, why wrap?

3m tape for bonding to the mirror? Hopefully then can remove with a heat gun if even damaged for replacement.

The side vents are cool, but price is too steep. Maybe if going away from chrome.

jeezzz did you really pay $700 for the side vents ?? also quick question since you just did the side vent install... is it true that would you remove the oem ones the clips pretty much break off no matter what?

If you had a couple of people, one with really small hands, were really lucky, and really opened up the fender you likely could preserve the clips. But I'm not sure it is worth the trouble, I expect once you switch you won't go through the effort to switch back. On the edge for the mirror you only notice it if you get your eyes about 6" from the mirror, I don't even see it anymore.

I bought stick on from Mina Design and am very happy. Don't make as many parts but quality is first rate and easy to mount.
