Hi all
I wonder if you could help I need to remove a broken mirror housing off my car. I have found plenty of info on removing mirror and door cards but not how to remove the side mirror housing. Has anyone had any experience with this? or know of a resource they could point me towards?
Thanks

Mark,
Do you want to remove the Back Cover (item 1) or the complete door mirror assembly?

(click on the image to enlarge it)
The assembly is secured with three M6 x 16mm hex screws which will be accessible from inside the vehicle.
Over to members with XF's to tell you how to remove the necessary trim items.

Thank you
I am still figuring out what is possible. The main housing is broken beyond repair and the LED light assembly is damaged. all the other internals are still working correctly, such as folding motor and dimmer for night driving. Essentially all I need to replace is the main housing, the top cover and the LED light strip. I am currently assuming to achieve this I would need to remove the whole lot from the door.
Thank you
