Door panel clip repair
Overkill?
Yes but very strong and I probably won't ever have to fix that part again.
I got a little OCD on it........lol.
BTW - In case you are wondering, that is window adhesive that I used to hold it back onto the door panel and not silicone. That black glass adhesive will hold anything to anything I swear. I had a tube from a project on my RV and wanted to use it up....lol

I will leave that to someone who has a lot more time to spare than I do....lol.
The first picture shows the lame attempt at a repair that someone tried before. I cleaned off all the old epoxy and then glued the original pieces back on with crazy glue. This gave me a foundation to build the bracket over. There was a little space between the metal and the plastic part so I just filled that space with a little epoxy and now it is very solid.
Also just discovered that the other two plastic holders on that side of the door panel have been partially pulled away from the door panel. Someone got too aggressive on the panel in the past I assume?
Time to whip out the window adhesive again to make sure those stay tight.
