It's a very interesting subject...one probably worth much more discussion and insight than I certainly am capable of. I agree that I have a general preference for it not happening, but I've also seen a lot of very good handling cars do it, especially FWD ones. We aren't FWD here though, so perhaps a lot of the reasons it happens with a hot-hatch don't apply to us, but it's not necessarily a killer thing. My guess on the Jag is that what we see in that pic above is a lack of droop...the suspension isn't too stiff, it just stops extending because it is at maximum rebound. I'd be very interested to hear if you or anyone else knows for sure...

FWIW, what you see in the pic above is an extreme case. I would guess I'm doing about 20 mph there and just had the wheel slammed over. I've gone looking for pics of other F-Types in similar situations and not found any...perhaps this is a very unusual use case that the car isn't really designed for (and probably we're all happy about that).

so go do some straight line burnouts and report back......FWIW, I'm leaning towards a diff problem as mine doesn't seem to do that but then my 2014 doesn't have torque vectoring IIRC so maybe that's why.

I have a V8R with 620bhp and on the road have no problem getting the rear out but going slower, but when on track it seems more difficult, maybe because im going faster on track and have less things to hit lol.
The other thing i noticed on track was i think because of the elsd and torque vectoring it would power out of corners with very little slip.

I experience less body roll with the lowered suspension than I did stock. (lower center of gravity and higher spring rate at close-to-full compression). I believe that lift is normal for an OEM suspension.

Well, it definitely lays down 11, not 1, when just launching straight. And with smaller steering inputs and/or not nailing the throttle mid-turn, the rear end is plenty happy to dance and swap ends with the front. So yeah, the car is just fine...and I'm glad there is no video.
