Default Euroamp pipe issue

I'm in the midst of doing the EuroAmp coolant pipe upgrade and having an issue.

I can't seem to get the lower y-pipe to fit into the block. It seems too tight. I've tried some silicone grease on the o-rings. I've tried tightening down the screws. I've tried tapping on the pipe.....pushing down on it......rocking it.......all with no luck.

What's the secret here?? Very frustrating problem.

I've read a few reports from people with this issue, including one where the guy had to buy three or four pipes before one would fit (I think he was using unbranded eBay parts rather than Euroamp). Seems the QC on these parts isn't amazing. I would contact Euroamp and ask for their advice and help... from very limited reports of other issues, they seem to be pretty good at replacing dodgy parts under warranty.

I don't think I'd attempt a fix unless I was an experienced machinist, at least without Euroamp's approval. As soon as you mod the part, your warranty is gone.

Have patience, give them some time to give you an answer, and go from there.

If I remove the o-rings, the pipe fits perfectly. It's like the cross section of the o-rings is too large.

Try purchasing the factory o rings ,then put Vasilene then heat the the 2 outlets with a heat gun or hairdryer then insert , give that a try,the F-types I've done some go in perfect and some give a little fight,

I pulled the old factory o-rings off the plastic pipes and tried them on the aluminum. The y-pipe inserts perfectly into the block now.

Looks like I'm ordering some new rings......the EuroAmp's are just a little too large in diameter.

I can also add here that my JLR deal installed the Euro Amp pipes with no issues at all BUT (as others have done) they used OEM JLR O-rings. I was told that everything went together smoothly.
