I wish my results from Eurocharged were anything to brag about. on my 4.2 supercharged 08 xkr I gained 7whp max and no improvement in daily drive-ability . I requested a refund, but they would not refund entire amount, even though at least 24hp gain was promised.

If you kept the pulley/tune, that's not entirely unreasonable, but i can understand your frustration.

We have two vendors on the F type forum who are known quantities. I would stick with them.

I have the VAP tune on my F-Type but I did have the Eurocharged pulley and tune on my previous XFR and was happy with the dyno results and they were not at all difficult to work with on my endless pre-purchase questions, so I'm sorry AlexJag that you were disappointed.

I went with VAP this time as they had a greater number of F-Types under their care, not as a result of anything intrinsically negative about Eurocharged...

I had my own pulley installed all I had from them was the tune and I returned everything yet they still kept $150

If you returned your MyGenius programmer which contained the tune, I believe the manufacturer (not Eurocharged) charges a reset fee so the handheld can be used on another VIN. I had heard that fee was about $150 so that may be the explanation.

if everyone else is getting around 24hp gain and you got 7,
i would be looking at your car as if it had a fault or faulty component .
e.g. maf . iat2 , cats or the likes .
probably not to do with the tune at all by the sounds of it .

what was your bace line dyno and afr's & fuel trims like before the tune ?

thats the thing, there is no cars like mine. 4.2 08 xkr with the claimed 24hp gains on a dyno or on 1/4mi improvement done by Eurocharged. My car runs strong and has no mechanical issues. My local tuner friend and the dyno operator all said the same thing that only timing parameters were slightly changed, no afr changes at all.. here is the link to my dyno runs https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...esults-177823/

I'm not saying you're wrong here by any means, but something to keep in mind when a company claims a 24 hp increase, that doesn't always mean 24 peak horsepower. It probably just means 24 horsepower somewhere in the curve. Looks like you had at least 20 ft/lbs. gain in there, but the horsepower curve does look pretty pathetic, i'll give you that. Maybe 12 hp gain at best.

And AFR is suuuuppeerrrr rich!

it kind of backs my theory . it was running way too rich before the tune .
and exactly as rich afterwards .
id be looking at your maf . check your g/s rates .
the tune certainly done the trick as far as improving torque and shifting the torque to an earlier point . so ill bet if the AFR was fixed both stock and eurocharged tune would befit from that .
also agree with stohlen the advertised gains are not always peak gains , as you can see at around 5200rpm on your graph . you had more than 7HP gain at that point .
same goes with the claims on pulley upgrades . they are not peak claims .

actually these cars run this rich stock and the graph of afr is exactly what it should be stock.
