Hi guys, a friend of mine bought a brownstone home in the West Village section of NYC, so I went to his house warming party last night. The weather was perfect, dry & clear, to take the Jag out for the night. It was the first time venturing into the city with my car. I drove through mid town Manhattan before driving on the west side highway. All of you know NYC streets are surrounded by Huge tall sky scraper building, so its like driving through a deep valley. Traffic was very light at night time, so I was able to play a little bit. I blasted down several side streets in first and second gear, while being in dynamic and sport mode. The echoing exhaust sounds were simply amazing, as the exhaust sound was bouncing off the buildings and echoing throughout the street. Anyone walking on the sidewalk would stop to look and see what type of car was coming down the street. The echoing pops, bangs and crackles were so loud when driving in lower gears. People starred at the car as I drove on these side streets. In my opinion this car gets probably the attention as a Ferrari coming down the street. It was great ! Last, exhaust sounds inside the Lincoln Tunnel were also epic !

 

I can imagine last night i was driving my car to get its xpel wrap done and i feathered it too 4k rpms to get the gun fire sound and a lady and her friend actually duct not knowing what it was and this was in open air, I could only imagine how it sounds in NY streets. Epic is definitely a term I would use or maybe even biblical lol

 

I work in NYC and live in NJ. When ever I see an F-type I light up! These cars are amazing. I fly out of the downtown Heliport. I will trade you a ride for a ride. lol

Whether along canyons or in the city, I just adore the sound. I'm sure the neighbors don't, but to me it is euphoric.

 

Last year, in June, I'd just bought the car and went to the Treasure Island car meet, right next to San Francisco. I, too, too the car into the city and turned on the active exhaust after the meet, and enjoyed hearing the pops and crackles reverberate off the buildings. Can't wait to do it again soon... Enjoy it!
