I have an F Type P450 rwd coming in soon , I have heard a few of these and am not satisfied with the exhaust note is there a way to keep the valves open before 4k rpm using the factory button or will I have to get the quicksilver system that bypasses it? I was also wondering if it is possible to get a pre opf cars cat con to replace the cat con opf assembly? Is that do-able without requiring a remap?

just remove fuse 15 from inside the engine bay and you’ll be fine, try it before buying another exhaust. My 21 P450 was transformed when removing this fuse.

 

Pulling the fuse definitely makes a difference below 4K, but the OPF is really what kills the fun. I don't think you could get pre MY18 (or pre 2022 in the US) cats without a software remap to compensate. But if you get a tune from VAP they should be able to add it in at the same time so you get more power and more noise! What's better than that?
