Default Exhaust question

So as you all know I got my car rhis passed Saturday morning. I had question is the v8s exhaust quiter then the v8r. I feel that it is by a little bit or is it just a placebo. If it is anyway to increase the volume to r coupe levels

The o2 software update (K309) might have been applied and that has been responsible for quieting the exhaust. A subsequent update was required to replace the original sound level. Check with a dealer to ensure that you have the fully updated software and let them know that it is quieter than other V8 cars.

Check my post in the link below detailing a software fix to my V8S to address changes to the exhaust following the original K309 update
