Default F type Coupe driver display faulty

Hi, was wondering if anyone else has this problem. MY F type driver display screen is faulty..the segments are corrupted and tend to vary in colour..see attached pics (it's worse when it's cold or just started and tends to clear after the vehicle has warmed up..however i've noticed it getting progressively worse..i've only had the car 5 months and whilst still under warranty..I don't want them pulling my dash apart like some garage sale. I wouldn't even be able to sell the car as it's the first thing you look at when the ignition comes on...not what i expected for 160K.

It isn't going to fix itself, so take it back to the dealership. They can then demonstrate what level of customer care 160k buys you.

Don't know why the dealer needs to query the manufacturer techs. This is fairly common issue with displays related either to the circuit board or display wafer itself. Always, the answer for the dealer is to replace the entire display unit.

I hope it's an easy swap out Ihoboy..I've got pictures in my head of the dash in 100 pieces sitting on the workshop floor

That varies widely by vehicle. It could be as simple as removing a piece of snap-in trim and a few screws, or as you fear, dismantling an entire dash panel. I suspect the former in this case. Please let us know if you find out.

The sooner you get it fixed the sooner you can start forgetting it happened. I don't think the whole dash will need to be dismantled.
