Could this be easier if we set up a Facebook group? I could get it up and running and invite everybody if you guys like the idea...

That is a great idea. Let us know what it's called. Im in a few groups for my other hobby (vintage iron / barbells) and it works great.

I'll get it going and post a link later this evening for everyone if they'd like to join. Also, if anyone wanted to PM me details of the meet (or if 1PM Longhorn still stands I'll default with that), I'll be able to add that to the info on the page :-)

There might also be some value in identifying a few meetup locations for the drive over to the Longhorn. I know, Schwabe, Foosh and I are close enough to do so, and I suspect others could do so as well.

Great ideas all. Flinger and I had a great lunch and an awesome drive through some roads in PA I never knew existed. The man can drive, glad I was following.

Any chance we could try for Saturday? If not Sunday is ok but if we do Saturday we can meet a little earlier and have more time now that the sun goes down so early.

I don't think Flinger can do next week but I can be there. Since we have folks coming from across PA and Maryland and I see the Jersey boys are up for it should we chose another meet site other than Lancaster and run some roads in Maryland? Or we can do the Lancaster site again. I'm up for anything.

Facebook page is a good idea (guess I finally need to join!). I can see Us ending up with a dozen or more cars which could be very cool.

I just saw this. I'm in if next Sunday is a go. I'm about 2 hours away from Lancaster. It would be nice to meet some fellow owners and forum members.

Just a couple of snaps I took after lunch. Never had time to take any on the drive as we were driving too fast!

My sone has a brief video I'll get him to send me and Flinger may have some shots.

If we do Sunday let's move the time to meet up to noon so we have more time.

Sorry we had to bail today, but the rain didn't clear here until after noon. I'm up for trying again next weekend, but the long-range forecast I saw tonight is calling for possible rain here both Sat and Sun. Of course, that's meaningless this far out.

Hey all, I've created a Facebook event for next Sunday's meet. Please feel free to join if you'd like and we can get a better idea of who all to expect. If any information needs to be added regarding alternate routes for those meeting up from longer distances please don't hesitate to PM me the details and I'll add it to the group description as well.

Another snap. Parking lot of a pub in Chester County called The Whip. Horse country area with a real stone and wood pub feel. Great brews.

Helps to actually attach it. There was a boxter and a Cayman there as well but folks waiting for tables were taking pictures and surrounding the cars at one point.

Hey guys... Indeed, we had a fantastic afternoon yesterday. Marko and Ian rock... Fantastic convertible. Love the color scheme. So much to admire...

Heck, we couldn't get out of the parking lot of The Whip (last pic from Marko) due to all folks asking questions. A lot of fun.

And, as for that fast driving - all I kept seeing was a white vert closely in my rearview mirror... soooo, there's that... lol

Next weekend? We can't on Sunday, but I think we could on Saturday - if everyone so desires. If not, next time...

Switching to Facebook now... although I'll obviously hang on this forum, as well...

I have it set up for Sunday on FB but if we can get a general consensus of the best day, I'll get it switched.
