Default F-Type Lowering Springs

Hi Guys!
I just got the H&R lowering springs installed on my 14 F-Type V8s and the car looks too low for my taste.
I'm going to swap them back to the OEM ones.
I can't return them so if anyone here is interested ill sell them to you for a great price!

How much did it lower the car? Also did you put spacers on ? If so what size?

It lowered the car by 1.2 inches.
There are no spacers on the car. I think it might fit 15mm spacers but definitely won't fit 17mm.

I'm thinking of these H&R springs for my F-Type, I reckon the 1.2" drop looks good, the stock height is way too high looking IMHO.
My only worry is ride quality, did you get to drive it much on the H&Rs and if so what are your views on ride quality?

That drop looks to be more than the drop on my car. 1.2" is the advertised drop, but mine turned out to be 1.25" in front and 1.5" in the rear. What is the part number on the springs? There are different springs depending F-Type model. You may have gotten the base/S springs rather than the R or AWD springs. I have the H&R springs and 15mm spacers with plenty room left over.

The ride is probably stiffer, but not noticeably so. The handling, however, is perceptively more responsive with less body roll under hard cornering.

28822-1 is the part number.
Ride quality was actually excelent.
The main reason that I want to swap them for the Velocity AP ones is that I want to fit the car with 17mm spacers and they rub with these springs.

Yep, 28822-1 is the part number for the V6 springs, and 28822-2 is the number for the V8 springs.

The 228822-2 are for the R and the 228822-1 are for the Base, the S and the V8s according to the H&R website.

Has any other V8s owner fitted their car with these?

The application sheets do indeed indicate the -1 for V8S, but the additional weight of the V8 over the V6 is going to lower the car a bit more that on the V6. Your car certainly looks lower than mine with the same springs. The VAPs will perhaps be the best choice for you, or you could try a set of H&R -2.

Yeah, but those springs are probably still cluttering up his garage.
Damian,
