My observation is that its not just driving, its everything to do with being a grownup, mature gent.
Easier to describe the animal from the tail end. If they are willing to surrender driving themselves, think of how that translates to owing a home and a garage and tools, let alone a proper wardrobe.
This is the biggest demographic since the baby-boomers and its more like hippies. Corporate America is in on it too, they want them to settle for tiny pleasures and sell them weed.
Corona beer just bought a weed grower for $7 Billion- think about how much weed they plan on selling to break even.

Another important difference is that the scooter rendering is computer generated, while Arnold + bike is real. Today's kids believe that real and imaginary are equal.

Ask a new person what the fastest street car is in 2019 and they'll all tell you its the 2020 Tesla Roadster then regurgitate all it's made up stats as if its a real car. When we all know the Lighta Wundercar is faster still, it does 0-60 instantly, costs nothing and is powered by emotions. I invented it years ago.

A key difference between todays little morons and washed-up old people is that young people grew up in a world of magic black boxes that work. They didn't experience the increments that make a virtual reality possible. To them, all technology is black magic and magic is perfectly normal.
