Default F-Type meets in continental Europe

I see quite a few trips and meets here in USA, do anybody know if anything major is going on on continental Europe? That means not UK, where they are driving on the wrong side of the road

Here in nothern Germany exists a little group of F-Type owners. We´ve got a What´sApp-Group and talking about tours and meetings.

We often drive on roads in the "Harz", but not often on Autobahns. Driving fast in a straight lane with 270 km/h is a kind of boring...

Now this is a really old thread being bumped. There are some meets here and there in continental Europe but nothing big as far as I know and I've never seen anything down towards Slovenia. The best place to check out is the different F-Type groups on Facebook where you can find groups for different regions and countries.

Otherwise what every proper Jag man in continental Europe should do at least once is to drive up to the Jaguar Breakfast Club in the UK outside every Jag enthusiast's Mecca - the Jaguar Heritage Trust Collection at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon. It's a magical place if you like your Jags. The meet is every month and is the world's biggest regular Jag meet with loads of F-Types. It obviously requires driving on the wrong side of the road and driving on some of the civilized world's worst roads but it's worth it.

Thank you for your suggestion. UK trip is a bit of a stretch and I am terrified of the RHD world, but your suggestion is one more piece... I wish to visit Clarkson's Farm too hehe. Maybe I should plan UK trip!

Do it, it's totally worth it. Once you hit UK roads you get used to driving on the wrong side and going the wrong direction in roundabouts pretty quickly. The only issue is that you have to keep checking the blind spot on the right side of the car and given the F-Type's fat C pillars you don't see sh*t there.

All the cool places are around the Cotswolds, just a couple of hours up from the coast depending on if you take the tunnel or ferry... The British Motor Museum, Clarkson's farm, Harry Metcalfe's test roads and many really pretty roads (for England that is. If you're from Slovenia or Luxembourg you're pretty used to pretty roads ). Both Jezza and Harry live around there too. I did a little solo road trip there a couple of years ago and loved it. Hung out with some local Jag enthusiasts I got to know online, attended one of the JBC meets, saw all the cool places and roads and did a shedload of fun driving. The only thing putting me off bringing the F-Type up there again is the state of the English roads.

Just got back from the Lake District and the roads around Keswick are absolutely amazing. Spent a week driving around there. Unfortunately, I was driving the family SUV so not much fun for me but I could only wonder what a fantastic experience it'd be to drive the F-type around there.

Yorkshire is my home county and also has brilliant country roads. The Scottish Highlands and Wales too.

Yes, I should have said the petrolhead and Jaguar related places are around the Cotswolds (and outside Birmingham). Seems like there are same really nice places if one ventures further up or into Wales. I've seen a fair bit of Yorkshire in the past and loved it. I just hope the roads are better in the rest of the UK than in England.
