Default f-type options?

f-type options?-ftype-option-1280x720-.jpg

f-type options?-ftypeoption-3-1280x720-.jpgI was driving down a major boulevard in the San Fernando Valley this afternoon when I spotted an F-type that offered some "options" I'd never seen nor realized were available on the S model, triple exhaust pipes, Biturbo engine, blacked out rockers....am I missing something?

The third exhaust must be for the second (bi) turbo. Maybe JLR is out testing the BMW v8 bi-turbo or its April Fools day.

I'm not sure, but I think a Bi-Turbo needs a triple exhaust.

Amazed a Jag F-type would get a ricer treatment....it's usually seen on more affordable Asian auto brands (this guy is obviously trying to imitate the LFA but then he goes Mercedes on us). That's typical fair for "the valley". I usually don't go east of the Malibu pier, so I don't get to see this sort of thing very often.

Well, us valley boys don't see it too often, either. And why would anyone want to emulate an LFA or anything else in the Lexus lineup?

You have to put yourself in his shoes. A Lexus is glamorous to a ricer. He needs to put a giant wing on it next...no ricer car is complete without one of those.

They have periodic "safety checks" in the valley. That's when the rozzers set up a little stand, stop traffic to see if your car has any violations. It backs up traffic for ages. There's almost always a K-9 unit present to collect a free air sniff...so the police can search the car with out a warrant. I'll bet this ricer gets the free air sniff at safety inspections....so he might get arrested any day.

Wouldn't Ferrari take the car back from him? There's got to be limits. Doesn't anyone play by the rules anymore?

Point of order.

We more correctly refer to this as a BFW.
