Hi all, I am chasing down a minor evap leak engine code. I have already replaced the fuel cap, now I am going to try and unplug and replug in the Purge valve but I cant find it in the engine bay. Any help would be much appreciated.

Just went through this on my XKR. The leak was in the EVAP pump, which to replace in the XKR, means removing the differential and a whole bunch of other things. After replacing it, CEL code returned immediately. After smoke testing the system, the brand new pump from Jaguar was leaking, and the whole process had to be done again. Second pump went in last week, cleared the CEL, drove it for 400 miles so I could get the smog check for my registration, and it passed on the first try. Not bad for a car with 201,000 miles on her.
