They're really the best in the business (endorsed and used by Jay Leno, among other notables). I would see about using them to take your cat back home.
Yeah I was nervous but the jag was probably the cheapest car on the truck. I'll check 'em next time I ship something.

I've used transporters for all of my vintages and closed or open carrier, they're all the same. You still have to detail the crap out of the car once you get it...

No official hard data or videos but one of the guys I talked to at hennessey said the car ran an 11.5 with a pretty conservative launch during the promo/test video. Not sure what drive mode it was in. Sounds about right since all it's got is probably about an extra 50-60hp and the mags had been running it at 11.8 and they get to practice different launches and everything.

Wow sounds like they're testing it well

Nice video. I don't want to come off like Debbie Downer, but the 123mph seems a little low for the claimed HP increase. Obviously different conditions but many magazines including Edmunds, MT, C&D have reported 121-122mph 1/4 mile speeds. Or am I totally off? The 3.5 0-60mph is the fastest I've seen/heard of though. Nice!

Thanks. Yeah I don't know. 11.5 is the fastest I've actually seen. Even what a mag claims can be bs and bias for various reasons. And as far as what somebody's buddy's friend with one ran, well that car seems to get 1/10th faster every time I hear the story.

518 horsepower at the wheels is a lot more than the regular R. Did the poster who had his done by Euro state his brake horsepower?

Ultimately we'll have to wait for you to take it to the track to see what's really going on.

I'll ask 'em for the official dyno sheets since they're mysteriously absent from the video.

Unfortunately I'm at 4000' so my times aren't going to be record breaking. But that's just an excuse for a road trip to a sea level city.

So I went back and watched a few dash videos I made and noticed the 4-5th shift point is right there at 122-123mph. You think this could factor into cars all having trap speeds right around there? Not sure if they were shifting or just had it in auto either. Like you said lots of factors.

Car and Driver got 11.8@122.3 mph for a stock R in their "World's Greatest Drag Race" event. I suspect that based on the performance gains Hennesey recorded, the car should be a little quicker than what was obtained. WaltB achieved better results for the V8 S but it is just too many factors to take into consideration here. Bottom line, if you're happy with the results then that is all that matters.

BTW, FWIW, I recently read that many US magazines do a 2 feet rollout in many of their tests to avoid traction issues. Apparently this equates to a non-insignificant saving of 0.2 seconds. This is why you might see European magazines report a little slower 0-60 mph times. Just another unknown factor in many of the reported numbers.

It's so hard to trust anyone that's getting $$ from advertising or sales, even hennessey.

But I think all of the "well I know I only ran a 12.3 but if I had my 110lb girlfriend drive after she took a **** but before she ate breakfast and I took every thing out of the glove box and didn't have the go pro attached affecting drag and there was a 13mph tail wind I'm confident the car could run a 10.5-11.4 easy, easy bro"

He did run a 12.0 or a 12.3(traction issues) but I was focused on his trap speed which really tells the story of how much power his car was putting out. He trapped at 123 mph+ and stock the V8 S varied between 118-120 mph. That is an epic gain for 55hp/60-65 pounds of torque especially on a car that is 3900 lbs.
