Good to hear its OK ! Would have been a nasty setback if they had been too big.

How about the size of the tires : the width of the track is the same, you only had the wheel offset the tires more ?

But then; your turning radius isn't affected ?

Can you make less turns of the steering wheel as the rims might touch somewhere at the end positions ?!

definitely no adverse effect on steering or radius, as far as I can see.

The only thing is that as soon as I saw all of that rotor I thought "you know, they really need to be slotted or cross drilled..."
Bruce, your finger measured at the front of the wheel, but I see Dan's point, it looks like the front wheel/tire sits much further back in the wheel well than on mine. We have seen this once before, and it wasn't good. Is it the same on the other side?

Yep, it is the angle, there is at least 25mm all round. It is because the tyre sits out so far from the arch, see pics. But thanks for your concern!

Here's a cane toad vid I remember from years ago.
Not the greatest picture quality, but it shows some novel ways of getting rid of cane toads, including Bruce's method:

Are thes "offset" , so the rims have 'build in' spacers ? Then all of the 2 extra cm tire witdh are displaced outwards and don't interfere with steering..
