Default F-Type S convertible

Hello, I'm about to acquire a 2016 F-Type S convertible and I would like to know if it is a good vehicle, is the mechanism reliable and what are the main faults of this vehicle?

In answer, in brief: Yes, it is a SUPERB vehicle; YES, it is reliable -but proper maintenance is essential as it is with every premium car; there are no "main faults" except that the electronic modules require full voltage all the time. Therefore the battery must be kept fully charged, and the best way to do that is to fit a CTEK battery maintainer -and to use it!
In buying a used car, the most important thing is always the service history.

Get a pre-purchase inspection, ideally from your trusted mechanic.

I had to put mine in the shop the day I picked it up - just a bad sensor that made the warning light go off that the hood was open (when it wasn't).
It hasn't needed anything but scheduled maintenance since.
Best toy ever.
