i didn't say everyone nor did I say everyone that buys an automatic is not an enthusiast. The new vehicle market for these cars is likely over 50% made up of people who aren't enthusiasts. The used/collector market has a much higher percentage of enthusiasts who appreciate a manual. The new vehicle market dictates the selected transmission, not the used vehicle market. Let's say 10% new buyers want the manual and 25% (or higher) of collectors/used buyers want a manual. That creates a squeeze on the manual. I am not judging whether someone gets an automatic or manual; I really don't care. Just making an observation. With a take rate of under 10%, I would expect manual transmission cars to do well.
