Default F type v8 issues

Hi
New here .
I’ve had a 2014 f type v8 R for 4 months with no issues . Couple days ago I was driving along & suddenly it didn’t feel right & shuddering at junctions with a smell of petrol . Drives ok ish but clearly not firing properly. I took it to the local garage just to see if he had any ideas & he put it on his machine & the only fault is low battery which has pinged up . The engine management light is on. The standard 3 month warranty from the dealer has run out . Any ideas before I take it anywhere that will start costing ?
cheers

It could be a fouled injector that would explain the petrol smell , but as Scm has said get any codes

It sure sounds and acts like a bad fuel injector. It has happened to my 5.0L V8 XKR twice in over 9 years of ownership. Tons of white smoke, raw fuel smell out of tailpipes, sputtering so badly so as not drivable at all. Both times, a quick trip to my mechanic and replacement of one bank of injectors fixed the problem within a few hours. This is known issue. While it will cost you some, it is not catastrophic, and you'll be back on the road soon.

@Theshoeman, what DTCs are stored if the MIL is on? Post them here if you want help.

^ Agree...Hard to guess without codes...But given age, etc., another potential problem could be O2 sensors. When they go, it can create a variety of issues with how the engine runs/sounds.
