Many of us have added the Smartop controller, to give us the remote roof up/down, which I agree was an oversight on Jag's part.

Glad you had a fun weekend. Now start a Kickstarter campaign, and maybe the Internet will buy you an F-type.

Jim,

If you're really lucky, Pentland will bring it back the next time it needs cleaning.

Good to hear you had plenty of opportunity to enjoy it.

Not in person Jayt
Here's hoping I don't hear anything in the next 2 weeks.

Didn't realise this was available for the F type......Is Steve ( JagWrangler doing it? )
I don't see anything on his site?
Campaign started, please send all donations to me directly ASAP.

Love driving around in a nice clean car, unfortunately pesky bugs n flies etc have other ideas and attach themselves to the car for some reason??
It went back as clean if not cleaner than I got it.
Don't know if I mentioned but it was just out the box really, with only 3k miles on it...
Thanks

Lol, maybe not that much Graham as most of it was stop / start, here n there with motorway bursts and others in between, but certainly around 500 I reckon.
Still absolutely amazed at how compliant she was on 19" rims and our UK roads with all their issues.
As a 6'3" guy with a large frame I was also impressed with the space, I had imagined it would be quite cramped, possibly even a little uncomfortable.....not a bit of it!

I have absolutely no clue and couldn't care one jot...
The exhaust noises and acceleration completely obscure the fuel gauge on this car. It is known design flaw.

+1. At full throttle, that particular graphic completely blinks out.

Fuel consumption / mpg / costs etc were all way down a very long list for me lol

As I mentioned in another thread, although for me as a tall guy at 6'3" with a large frame it was generally very spacious with plenty of leg room, I did have a slight niggle with my head brushing against the roof, even with the seat lowered.

This was so slight for a couple of days it really wasn't an issue, probably would be longer term. It was negated by the fact I could get the top down which was great.
Loads of love from me for the F type
