F-Type Winter
Not accessible, but that's OK, because I'm not there. I see it's scheduled to be more seasonable when I return next week.
Been pretty warm in the Midwest too. But you're lucky this year - last year wouldn't have been good, for example. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Everything ends.
I sure am enjoying these warm days with my R!
Probably won't drive in snow on summer tires, however, it never gets too cold here. Maybe mid-30s-40s in the winter. Lot's of rain.
The Porsches had the same P-Zeros - I've learned to heat up the tires, modulate the throttle and leave some braking distance.
I know, I know... summer tires are supposedly useless under 40 degrees, but I haven't seen it, and I believe compound cracking doesn't really happen until it is much colder (and dryer).

RickyJay, great to hear how the car does in the snow. I DD mine into Manhattan everyday and was going to store for the winter but decided to throw the right rubber on it and drive it year around. In the meantime, it's been fun having the tail wag around on cold mornings...

In my opinion there's no reason to strictly store it for the winter, particularly in my hometown of NYC and even where I now live most of the time here in Maine. For the most part, the roads get cleared quite well and, well, cars are meant to be driven.
Unless it's a snowstorm and/or extremely icy I intend to keep using my V6S using appropriate care and caution given the road conditions. I am NOT afraid to get it dirty or acquire even the occasional windshield chip (like I did two days ago; and had my glass guy do that injection process to prevent spreading) - it's gonna happen whether it's winter or not - and enjoy the pleasures that this car provides. Especially in RWD!
Bravo to you!
Best regards,
Jay (a.k.a RickyJay52)
