Default F-Types in the wild

This is the first F type I’ve seen in the Baltimore-Washington area in over a year.

I bought my car in May of 2016 and have only seen 5 other F-Types in the wild in all that time.

I haven't seen many in the south of England (Southampton/Winchester area), clearly a rare car, even in its "home" country!

I live in San Antonio Texas, with a population of over 1.5 million. I've seen two in the last two years.

One I saw two nights before mine was delivered when we went out for birthday dinner. I showed it to my wife, and pointed out what paint changes I wanted - and she agreed! Then I saw it a year later...

In Austin, TX, once in 4 months. In the Bay Area, once every 36 hours.

I note you took the picture from your mini, so he probably thinks he’s the only one in the area. I suddenly feel privileged as there are at least 6 in my neighborhood. I know of at least 3 r coupes (two black, one red) one 6 cylinder coupe and two 6 cylinder convertibles. Gee, I didn’t know how unique this place is. Just as an aside, convertibles suck most of the year in central Florida, you are like an ant under a magnifying glass in the blazing sun.

Yeah, the parking garages in B'more are pretty tight, so I usually take the MINI when I go downtown.

HAHA, yeah I had an S2000 the 7 years I lived in N Florida, I had to put a leather sock on the shift knob because of the hot shift knob. I've seen 2 F-types here

Saw a white coupe in DC last Tuesday parked next to the Holiday Inn on C St SW near the Air and Space Museum. Didn't have mine at the time but I do see them occasionally up near Hunt Valley MD where I know a few den.

DJS, I know what you mean, about twice a year or so I've noticed the same migratory event in Maine......odd.

Considering that I've been putting almost 1000 miles a month on my car, I'm sure you'll be seeing me around before too long.

I saw one (silver or gray, was getting dark) going in the opposite direction near the Promenade shopping center (close to Quakertown, PA) a couple of weekends ago. Only one since acquiring mine late Spring of this year. Prior to that, a white coupe years ago when I was lusting for the car, the only other besides for sale at dealerships.

Only one I've seen in the wild since ownership and I am hyper aware of FTypes. Was in my Ultra Blue and waved. Wondered if it was a forum member behind the wheel.

At most of the C&Cs I attend, I am the only F-Type there. Interesting to me that I see many more Ferraris and Lambos at these things than F-Types. When Unhinged, I and others attended the Lancaster, PA cars and coffee last year it was the most F-types I've seen in one place at one time.

A dedicated run to the Tidewater area might be fun! Of course we'd have to make the run down at night given how bad the traffic has gotten.

Where in San Antonio do you live? I'm in Cibolo. Lately, I've seen a convertible same color asmine driving around Cibolo as well. I'm just never driving mine when I come across it.
