This. And you guys can answer a question....

I'm 340hp, detuned from the 380hp S.

That extra 40hp from the S is said to only come into play above 5K RPM. I TOTALLY could do that, but not too often.

When you are talking about the 550hp vs 650hp, I do understand it isn't about hitting your top HP, but the underlying torque that makes it a caged, quaking beast at your (sort of) control.

But where and when are you actually hitting your 550hp, and how? And if you did tune to 650hp, where is that extra 100hp engaged?

The 6cyl is a stallion to the R's apocalyptic monster... and I seriously cannot visualize the opportunities people have to max out that HP? Is that solely on a track?

But I would do it, if there is a well known tuning company ( DINAN type) that offered to jack up the car's horsepower.
My previous car was a 625 HP supercharged DINAN S3 M5 sedan. The car was awesome!
