Default A few new updates: P7 grill, fixed spoiler, door sills

After 7 painful weeks, I finally got my car back from the body shop. Had to take it in for some repairs covered by insurance but I happened to pick up a P7 grill from a fellow forum member and picked up a few other bits and had them installed at the same time. Pretty happy with how everything turned out.

I just ordered a heated, flat bottom Steering wheel from Guardian. Does anyone know how long they typically take?

Next on the list is a set of forged wheels, VAP tune/pulley, and TCU tune. And then I’m done.

The rear is completely debadged and the tail lights tinted.

Looks great. Did you do an overlay or a tint on your tail lights?

I bought the overlay set but ended up tinting it.

Thanks MM, and thank you for you advice and insight. Really appreciate the help.

Also want to thank AJ for selling me the P7 grill, Unhinged and Whalesmash for their help as well. You guys are awesome, thank you.

Ha, you’re right. I just picked up fluids to for the diff, trans, engine, air filter, for the 60k maintenance, and while researching, I picked up an antigravity lithium battery. I forgot to mention that I’m also installing a set of slotted rotors and porterfield pads this month.

I’m going to spend the rest of this year working on the F Type but I plan on picking up a RR and will dedicate next year to turning that into an overlanding vehicle. Overlanding vehicles is where it’s really never ending.

Which antigravity did you go with? I'll be looking into that when my original OEM goes. Knock on wood.

The Project 7 grille without the crossbar really looks great on the older headlight style front end. I kind of wish that Jaguar had retained that style of headlights on my 2021 R Model.
The whole car looks very stealthy and like something Darth Vader would drive. Nice work on the mods.

I picked up the 60ah H8 for $850 at

I thought about the 40ah but I’ve got a dash camera and a small battery bank but plan on hooking it up directly to the lithium and hope to get a few days out of it.

Thanks, that’s a huge compliment as I’m SW geeks.

I love the dashboard of the new F type but I kind of like the styling of the older models, a little more aggressive.

I had a gen 2 RX-7 in my late teens/early 20’s and always wanted a black on black gen 3. This car has become somewhat of a mid life crisis car for me as it reminds me of the gen 3 but a modern European interpretation.

Especially lovin' that grill; about the only thing you can do to the coupe that actually improves its looks. Nicely done.
