With stock size rear tires fit on the 11 inch rim vs the 10.5?

Reason for asking would be going to 305 or even 315 later but want to 'wear down' the stock tires on the new rims first.

Also I have the 15mm wheel hubcentric wheel spacers. With the OP's 11" rears and 305s would I still want to use those?

Clean the calipers first (degreaser or turps), two light coats of caliper paint (leave for 20 minutes between coats), then you can add caliper decals and/or clear coat if you choose. I have usually added decals then clear coated over the top, but you should allow the caliper paint to dry for at least 24 hours before applying the decals, and the clear must be the exact same type (and preferably brand) as the caliper paint, otherwise you risk the clear dissolving the base and running all over your nice new decals (don't ask me how I know this!).
I did this on my 370 - protect the pads and discs and anything else awkward to get at with silver foil / aluminium foil / tin foil (whatever you would like to call it), mask off everything else with newspaper - no overspray to clean up

295/30-20 tires are recommended to go on a 10" to 11" inch wheel.

To answer your spacer question, I would need to know the offset of the new wheel.

Late to this thread but hopefully not too late to congratulate you on a beautiful set of rims for the beast. The pics with the DRs are awesome!

Thanks guys - and Unhingd I love your always informative posts. I am very close to pulling the trigger on a 2015 R so I better get it in the garage and THEN start pestering people for more advice.

The R I am looking at has Gyrodynes on it that I may just powdercoat black. The car has the black pack and for my taste an all black wheel would look better.

I don't drag race or go to the track so wheel weight isn't as important as it is to the OP, but I still commend him on finding very nice wheels and if I go aftermarket those are the ones.

Agreed w/Unhingd on offset. Hell, if you're buying new 11" wheels - just get the right offset and dump the 15mm spacers

Allen & Burt - thanks guys...never too late to post I mean the 325's bulge a little...but...I think they look pretty awesome on too

Philly - you are running drag radials so the look and maybe bulge is different than say PSS tires?

GetYourWheels.com: Rohana Wheels Rohana RFX5 Matte Black Wheels : Wheel and Tire Packages|Staggered Wheels|Custom Wheels|Luxury Rims

Those are your wheels - correct?

Still love them in case I didn't make that clear before

Planning stock size Michelin PSS in front and 305 in rear, but if an 11" rear maybe 315s if the tire doesn't stick out past the fender wheel. I know a tire bulge on the rim isn't great performance wise, but I sure like that little bit of cushion for curb protection.

Anyone know the offset/spec of wheels that would replicate the 17mm spacers in that case? I would just sell my spacers in that case.

If this is stock spec, just add 17mm to offsets? (Sorry - wheel ignorant)

Offset ADDED or subtracted? Offset:62 FRONT / 55 REAR?? Add in 17mm??

Number of Bolts: 5
Rim Material:Alloy
Bolt Pattern:5x108
Rim Width: 9 FRONT / 10.5 REAR
Hub Bore:63.4
Rim Diameter:20
Rim Structure:One Piece
Offset:55 FRONT / 38 REAR

Subtract the extension. I suggest you subtract 15mm rather than the 17mm. If you plan on running 305s, only subtract 10mm, otherwise the tire will catch the lip. The offset calculations will change if you go with an 11" wheel.

Note there's a 'tire rim calculator', under 'Tools', on the menu at the top of the forum. No idea what it does.

Philly,

Great looking set up. Can you provide offsets? Are you running spacers?

Thanks

Are you running on stock suspension?
I've got VFF's on my M3 as well, and that graphite color would look fantastic against the Jag Firesand and other colors. Lightweight and reasonably priced, I wonder if they could be fitted using FR500GT spacer/adapter idea?

I don't see why not. You would just have to account for the extra 17mm of clearance but my adapters were custom spec'd to fit Jaguar (rotor side) and BMW (wheel side) so the overall fitment is spot on. I have an extra set of 2 if anyone wants to buy them from me as I ended up only using 2 of them for the rear wheels.

Default New forgeline wheels

I just put these monoblocks on with new mich 4s. They are black chrome or PVD. Sometimes they look chrome, sometimes they look gloss black but they always look good.

Hey Philly Single, did you ever do anything with your calipers or are they still Red? I've got a set of black calipers that I am looking to paint Red. Maybe we have a match made in heaven if you still have them and we have the same brakes. I'm a V6s with:
C08F - High Performance Brake System.

I'm in the northeast as well....

The front calipers could be a swap, but your rear brakes are smaller (355mm vs 376mm). Philly has the super performance brakes.

Not quite, the rear brakes are 326 mm vs 376 mm. The standard front brakes on the base are 355 mm.
