Default Finally... ready for her close-up

Gents -

After many many hours of detailing and paint correction along with wrapping, lowering and new wheels, the Jag is ready!!

Much love to all the contributors and folks who helped along the way starting with the pre-purchase research until this point.

Big thanks to matt@elementwheels.com and Branden@Ferrada wheels for making certain we had the right figment.

Really enjoying this car and I’m excited to share some pics with you. Enjoy

I like the artistic rust on the brake rotors, perfectly matches the colour of the wheels!
I guess you washed the car before the photo shoot and didn't drive it again for fear of getting it a little dirty.

Pretty sure the rear S badge is an after-market eBay or AliExpress job, I fitted one a year or two ago but then removed it.
I can tell coz the green is dark instead of light and the coloured bits are concave instead of convex.

Thanks Jaguny! Yes - everything black is wrapped including the nose. The black cat on the rear wing as well as the black S are aftermarket ebay items.

Thanks Luc - fairly simple process with the H&R springs and a lift. A competent shop should get it done within a 2-3 hours

Haha! Yeah that happens each time the car is washed! The photoshoot was inspired by the wash so you’re spot on that it hadn’t been driven but I do like the bronze on bronze effect! 🤣

Great looking XJ. I’m in the Atlanta area. Haven’t really heard of any meet ups locally for me.

The OEM rotors have to go. I think they stand out on my stock F Type but with the eye drawn to the drop and nice wheels you have to spend the small amount to upgrade the rotors. I plan on doing that soon myself.

Unlikely.
Looks to me like the standard factory "black pack" paint (which I have as well).
Black pack does the window surrounds, grill surround, bonnet vents and side vents in gloss black paint.

Default non-illuminated

So even though your car didn't orginally have illuminated sills when you removed the original non-illuminated sills the connectors was there for you to install the new illuminated sills?

Ozzy...does the surround need to be removed for a black wrap?
Thanks Friend....Sparkman

Dunno, I've never wrapped (or had wrapped) anything in my life.
But others here have wrapped the grille surround and can advise.
Also, checking back at the original post I can read and see that the OP did in fact wrap (or have wrapped) the grille surround and side vents and it's not OEM Black Pack paint like I previously opined. The main giveaway is that it is obviously satin black whereas the OEM Black Pack is gloss black.
