Default Flex fuel monitoring

I know that VAP offers a flex fuel tune, but how does the engine know the mix of E85 + 91/93? I don't see much information on the site describing how it handles this? Is anyone running a flex fuel sensor or know of one for the 3.0l or is it even required as these are flex fuel from the start and able to monitor? which I don't believe is the case.
Haven't messaged VAP yet to see if it is an option without the upper pulley, but my searches haven't yield much info so far

VAP’s 550HP tune (with pulleys) for the V6 is for E85 only. If you want to use regular fuel, you would need to flash the tune back to one for regular fuel. That’s my understanding.

OK, that makes sense. Is anyone aware of a flex fuel kit and monitoring solution then? I am guessing the answer is no or somebody would have done it already... Most flex fuel kits I am familiar with have a monitoring sensor for actual ethanol content to adjust the ECU where you put in x% of regular gas and y% of E85, or we in an all or nothing situation?

I believe we are indeed, as you put it, in an all or nothing situation. From what I recall of the announcement from VAP, this is an E85 tune, not any kind of flex system. I'm not aware of any flex option, but it is not something I've investigated at all. I'm at the torque limit of the transmission so am not looking for more.
