Default Guardian Designs EU?

Hello, all!

Has anyone had any luck using Guardian Designs EU for steering wheel replacement? I have 2015 F-Type R, and I’m looking to possibly replace the steering wheel at some point as the leather is all scratched up, sadly.

They did my wheel. In comparison to what I have seen from other companies, their work is top notch! I have had mine for several years and still looks almost as good as the day I got it. Highly recommended! @Guardian

I have a heated flat-bottomed Steering wheel (Black Trim) and a heatedround-bottomed (Silver Trim) in excellent condition (less than 30K miles on them) available for $300 each. I bougth the flat bottom for $550 to replace the original round one (not realizing it had black trim). When I went to have it installed 5 months later, it was too late to return. I bought another sillver flat bottom to replace that one and once it got installed, I ended up with yet another steering wheel in a box in my garage. PM me if someone has an interest.

The solution here is not replacement. It is to recolour the leather! Child’s play. There are many companies that supply water based polymer colourant for leather. When dry, the colourant is permanent, never comes off and is inexpensive.

Does anyone know if they can keep the R logo at the “6” position of the steering wheel? All the images on their website show the steering wheel without the R logo.

why not just ask them directly? They replied to your post on the other thread so they are active on this forum.

There are probably several hundred posts on our site discussing steering wheel options with good references to several companies that do this kind of work. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...ces%85-230658/

If you haven’t already do try to send Guardian Design a message from their web site and although it might take a day or two you should get a response. https://guardiandesigns.eu

i have owned their wheel for several years now and I simply love it. They are wonderful craftsmen.
