Hey FR500GT,

Just want to say, amazing looking car. I know I've spotted it a few times on DDEs youtube channel.

Question. Did I miss your write up on the carbon fiber rear diffuser? Where did you get it? Any headaches on the install/quality of it?

Thanks

Hey thanks man! Haha yeah Damon frequents our shop a lot (we did his previous wraps and printed out his current one) and we attend a lot of the same car events. Cool dude!

As far as the rear diffuser goes, no you didn't miss a write up. I opted out of doing one because it was such a headache to make it work and fit (to my standards at least). I purchased online from a random company overseas and took a huge risk as no one on here has really tried purchasing and installing this diffuser. The part comes about 90% ready to be installed but required about 10 hours of trimming, test fitting and installing OE hardware/reverse light brackets to make it work. I then had it professionally painted gloss black over the Carbon Fiber to really make it look like an OE part. Hope this helps!

You've definitely swayed me from not purchasing an aftermarket carbon diffuser. Just not interested in doing extra trimming etc to make it fit. If yours ever comes up for sale, I know there might be a few people ahead of me, let me know. I'll buy it from you.

Will do, there are a few people ahead of you but I will keep everyone updated over the next couple of weeks.

I really like the mild tail light tint you've got going. Can you share the brand and film you used? I'm thinking about going with Vvivids's light smoke vinyl.

Yup! Mine will be the same boring asymmetrical stripes. Don't plan on anymore upgrades because I might be upgrading soon.

Welp, it looks like I'm taking the 570s now.. kind of a bummer since I was looking forward to taking my F-Type. I shouldn't complain, it will still be a lot of fun in the flamethrower McLaren lol

Fuel Run looks like a blast. Supposedly, I'm getting my Pantera back tomorrow, and I'd love to take it up to Monterey anyway for Concorso Italiano in which many Pantera owners participate. But, unfortunately, I have family coming in from out of state on the 22nd, and am tied up for a week. It looks like a blast, and I'd love to try out my new engine and all of the new goodies on a great ride, but I'll have to wait until the next time. Hope you guys have fun.
