Front parking assist camera
I have this license plate bracket.
The F-Type's front parking assist doesn't help when there is a low curb (but not low enough for my license plate to clear).
So I purchased the following to use as a front parking assist camera.
I have verified that the iPhone app can quickly attack to the camera. So in less than 10 seconds, I can open network settings, connect to the camera's wifi, switch to the HomeEye app, and start live video.
I expect to mount the camera directly to the backside of my license plate. I may need to drill out one of the bottom mount screw holes a bit, but it should mount fine.
I can power the thing off USB using the following (or I could charge the camera when the car is parked).
I know there is access to 12V from the jumper cable tabs under the hood on the passenger side. Any ideas about how best to tap into the 12V?
Also, any ideas about how to thread the USB cable down to the license plate? At a glance, there is not much room. There's a plastic piece that mostly closes off any easy routes. But it does have some vent hole. Any hope of safely winding a USB cable through there?

I used a wireless camera for this reason. I couldn't find an easy way to route through the firewall. I'm sure there is a rubber grommet somewhere but its so tight its not going to be easy to find without a lot of disassembly.
What wireless camera did you use? And how is it powered? I have similar issue and would love to be able to quickly pull up a front video when parking in a tight spot with raised curb. Or tuck a tiny screen in the center console to view when needed
Any suggestions?

Nice. I may actually replace what I bought for that one. Any help on how you powered it (where did you connect power)? And how did you bring the wires from the power source to the camera.
