My new 2.0 plain Jane convertible just turned 1000 miles yesterday.
I made a trip to a local campground area. For the first time I pushed the car.
that more fun driving a slow car fast rather than a fast car slow deal is true.
another 40 hp was not necessary. I was driving a lot of 15-30 mph curves. The riding on rails thing comes to mind.
This is is also my first automatic transmission since 72(LBC car guy). (Wife has a diesel pickup with an automatic). Did not miss the clutch.
Moving up to the S was a pricey step.
I doubt my 63 MGB will get out of the garage much.
