Default Ftype Won't Start 2015 R

Please help guys, its depressing.

Car went limp just going to bottom of my street. I thought it was battery as it was low, replaced with a new one. Car was at Jaguar 3.5 months ago.

Any idea what this sounds like.

I got a mobile mechanic to inspect he said possibly something wrong with the camshaft?

I just had this same warning after I got a CEL on my 2010 XKR a couple of weeks ago. Since I have the worn engine that was replaced before I purchased the car, we simply pulled the sensor off the old engine, plugged it in on the current engine, and in less than five minutes the "crisis" was over. Have the sensor checked, doubtful it's actually the camshaft.

X2, I've seen crankshaft and camshaft sensors cause a 'no run' in several cars of all makes. (The ECU is programmed to stop fuel flow if it thinks the engine isn't revolving)

Luckily, you don't have an intermittent sensor. Those could leave you stranded multiple times if they are not diagnosed correctly.

My bet is that you have an electrical/wiring issue (including rodents nibbling on the wiring).
